High pitched noise is common and not sure which treatment works best.Been using Niacin,an herbal supplement called quietus.Not much affect.Noise is bearable yet distint and have been living with it for three years.Have a tendency towards high blood pressure and have it somewhat under control with a vegatable diet change.

My tinnitus is generally allergy related. Fluid in ears.
1. Over the counter treatment : one psuedophed PE pill + 24 hr. cetrizine. Repeat PE if needed ever 4 hrs..
2.Herbal treatment: 2 quercitin-bromelean pills + stinging nettles pill three times a day if needed.
3. Mechanical treatment: use Ear Popper device purchased from Amazon. You drink water, hold nose while pushing the button on the device put in your ear as you swallow. It will pop ears usually after one-two-or three tries. Sometimes need to do both ears to pop the opposite one. Go figure? After the ear popper I message gently, gently along my eustachian tubes to help the drainage.
4.Without the ear popper (which is more effective particularly if ears are really clogged): It responds and usually lessons if I take deep breath,hold it, squeeze my nose closed and blow and pop my ears. I don’t know if Dr. will say this is safe

I have been suffering with the tinnitus and dizziness for the past few years, I have had many appointments with my GP, specialist consultant and a hearing therapist. They have suggested vitamin b, zinc and supplied a white noise generator. All of this probably helps in its own way, but having read this site now I am inspired to try lots of other remedies to see what works for me. I most certainly have learnt more in the last five minutes reading this site then in three years of visiting GP’s. I will update you on what works for me as this weekend has been particularly difficult with the tinnitus and I recognise a few of the foods that I have had this weekend just before I felt completely rubbish.
